The 12th generation owner has always aimed to produce “a sake that is fragrant but elegant and light like a spring breeze.” Inspired by the wishes of the ancestors of the owners, the name “Bai Chun” implies that its drinkers enjoy the joy of fine wine to welcome the spring season with good health. The brewery has spanned more than two hundred years, and continues to brew sake that brings joy to people. The quality of the Hyakusyun has been affirmed and awarded recognition for five consecutive years by a prestigious panel of Heritage and Culture judges from Japan.
